Dr. Mohamed Hegazy, Head of Intellectual Property Rights Office in Information Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and the Head of regulations and laws committee in Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), with more than 20 years related experience.

He has been working in the cabinet Information & Decision Support Center (IDSC) for many years, Hegazy is also a founder and board member in the Egyptian Center for Intellectual Property & Information Technology (ECIPIT), a board member in the Egyptian Internet Law association. Besides being an instructor in Police Academy, Arab Academy for Science and Technology, National Judicial Studies Center and other institutions.

Dr. Hegazy has also participated in many legislative committees such as the committee of drafting and editing E-Signature, Cybercrimes and Data Protection laws in Egypt. He is also an arbitrator in the Commercial Arbitration Center for the Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC).
